crap.... money's starting to get really tight... so tight I'm already thinking the unthinkable; cutting off my net access. damnit I hate taxes... $400 is a lot of money to me, especially when almost all of my money goes to bills now. I sometimes wish I knew how to get out of this. Seriously, the economic situation is just getting worse and worse. *sigh* my head hurts. maybe if I get some sleep I'll think of something...

Well, after a long while I'm back online. Had to get new computer parts in order to play EverQuest's new expansion, Shadows of Luclin. I even started a new Vah Shir character (a race of cat-like people)... I think I feel cool playing a striped Vah Shir shaman named Kerrael... mrreowww :)

Still need a new vid card, and good ones don't come cheap... still, it'll allow me to run EverQuest at its full clipping plane; I can see very far out and avoid monsters before the see me.

I'm working Christmas again. It's just been confirmed.. workdays from the 23rd to the 27th... third year in a row. I guess I'll just deal with it as my job pays for a lot of things.

Well, writing again. Thanksgiving was a lonely affair for me. Well... almost. Had thanksgiving at my Sis' house, then went to work right after. I swear I'm going to kick the asses of some of my coworkers. The guy who was supposed to replace me at my post has NO family, yet he was given the chance to take the day off while I was brought in to work. I wonder if X-Mas is going to be the same. Well, I should get used to it. *sigh* some guys get all the luck...

Ugh.. being a Wild Mage is not easy... Destriana got herself killed when she got a Wild Surge; a couple of cows landed on her head. I'm pondering starting a new Wild Mage; I didn't put enough points into her dexterity.

ugh... came home... and literally fell into bed. so what if i had my AD&D rulebook there? Okay, okay.. so I hurt myself. At least I was away from that parking lot... apparently there was a lot of heavy drinking going on before I arrived... these people are intelligent at the very least.....

Ahh.. nothing like the smell of vomit, beer, urine and trash to keep one awa.... *goes off to the bathroom to throw up again* ugh... the crap I put up with...

Well, I have tonight off because I pulled other shifts for other officers who didn't show up. Apparently there are a few who don't like me because of the "professional" attitude I carry to work. At least I'm not an ass about it...

I just learned of the endings that may take place if I play Baldurs Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal all the way through... my Wild Mage, Destriana, is on her journey through the game. I wonder what path she will take... will she become a God in the end, or are there better things in store for her? Only time will tell as I get her through the game as best as I can...

Icewind Dale... Found my party in a series of crypts.. Lost Ukyo the Paladin during a skirmish with a Skeleton Knight. It shouldn't be too expensive to revive her; at least she didn't get hit hard enough to be "chunked"... or I'd be short 1 less Paladin. Perhaps I'll try the journey back to Shadow Vale when I've redone my strategy on how to fight the undead there....

Halloween... lovely.. too bad I won't be able to join my sis, my nieces, and their party.... Work again tonight... for the 3rd Halloween in a row. Damnit all.. I hate Beer Drinkers... this is one of the worst nights of the year because they gather in groups behind public building and guzzle kegs of beer. Arrrrgh!

Well, tried playing Diablo2 again... thank goodness that today's my day off... too bad I spent most of the morning and a few hours of the afternoon sleeping... and there's still the risk that I'll get called in again (something I don't want to think about)...

I hate Player Killers. All the ones in Diablo 2 did was kill me as soon as I left town. Apparently they had a lot of fun at my expense.. I think I'll reinstall Half Life and play the FireArms mod instead.

Well, work comes soon..... I leave in 10 minutes. I thought I'd just poke around in here a bit...

My first attempt at online play with Diablo 2 met with disaster... I died WAAAYYY too much... I haven't played a lot of games lately, so my skills are all shot...

I played IceWind Dale next... and made a party made up entirely of the few friends I have. Of course, I know of one or two who may/may not be irked by the fact that she's a Druid or a Paladin...

That reminds me... now that a fave site of mine is up (Skin Me), I may try to submit a skin... . found a cute pic of an IceWind Dale female cleric that I'm now using as my desktop....

hehe.. I took the cheat codes for Baldur's Gate 2 and arranged a battle between my main character and a Shadow Dragon.. Who would've thought those evil things were immune to magic and weapons? There's no point in fighting something you can't hit, I guess.....

Well, time for work. I hope that drunk "Texan" who threw up, pissed, then dumped on the same spot while claiming that he was expressing himself doesn't show up.... *sigh* the things I put up with on the job. I hope tonight is LESS eventful...

Oh, man... what a night.. 9 hours of hell... and my SIXTH day at work too. Worse yet, I'm working tomorrow. I'm starting to get tired of this.....

Well, now I have Diablo 2 and am enjoying it. All I need now is to figure out 1) where Amel is in the game and 2) who she is.. hehehe... that is if I can figure out how to work BattleNet....

Just woke up. It's not easy to wake up from a surreal dream, y'know. It was really wierd.... in the dream I awoke to hear on the radio that a meteor was tracked as falling toward the Pacific Ocean. Then, about an hour later a huge wave washed over Guam and I was drowning....

That dream seemed so real. I'm still shivering from the fear I felt. Could it be... an omen? I hope not...

Last saturday we had a rather large earthquake.... it was 7 on the scale and occurred at 1am in the morning. I swear the parking lot I was guarding looked like Jello.... we only got power back last night. Before then I felt like I was roasting in my room while asleep, as the place gets really hot without any air conditioning...

Oh, yeah..... before I forget.... I got a new email address, as the one at ZDNet closed down (which royally sucks). It's now at kennrnk@hotmail.com :) I like Hotmail; I can set it up with IE so I don't have to login at Hotmail.com when I want to check email :)

Okay... now I want to complain about work. For the past few weeks I've been promised a day off, only to end up being called right when I wake up and being ordered to work later that day. I swear if this doesn't stop, I'll go postal (just kidding; I could never go kill anyone in cold blood).

Well, at least I was able to get my hands on the Baldurs Gate 2 expansion pack... too bad I won't get much of a chance to play it.... too much work already..

I'm so tired... I want to go sleep... I could sleep for days on end... I'm going overboard again, aren't I?

Well, time to get as much sleep as I can. Work tomorrow is not gonna be a walk in the park.. not with so many people in the parking lot flea market.....

Blah.... the first time I get on the net in how long? 2 weeks? Hopefully my day off this week doesn't consist of downed phone service and power outages. Hopefully I'll have time to send out a package to someone.... Well, time to take a shower. I wish I had more on my mind right now....

Well, I found an old database and managed to get some of the numbers back. But alas the database is quite old; maybe six months ago....

Now I gotta figure out how to add info to the left side of this blog so people will know a bit more about who writes this thing. Well, not EVERYTHING! Hahaha!!

Well, preparing to go to work again. Jeez, this sucks.... I get hit with a virus, taking all my ICQ numbers, my Email, and other stuff I had downloaded.... I wonder what else can go wrong?

Got the PC version of Battle Arena Toshinden 2. I gotta say the game still rocks. The only dissapointing thing about it was that the opening video seen on the PSX version wasn't there.

Arrgh... I want a vacation, but if I do get one, I may not be able to pay my house bills. 3 weeks would be nice.... I should go save some windfall first so when I do go on vacation, my house bills should be covered (unless another emergency arises where I have to use such funds to get out of the mess).

Life is hard for me now. (actually, inconvenient would be the word; it'd be hard if I lost the internet because I couldn't pay for it).

Well, time to go to work. *sigh*

*sigh* Day off is practically gone now... I'll just have to be patient. maybe if I stay up a little more.......

practically spent the night playing EverQuest, tho I don't play my home server too often.. I have a female ogre stalking me there... .... ......

In other news, I'm still stuck installing programs. I guess it's not great having a 15 gigabyte hard drive (I can hardly comprehend the size myself, 'cept I know I can fit a couple thousand floppies in one). I have a new comic strip in the works to replace the old one; I seem to get burned out easily from doing strips, or could it be that it's not the right kind of story for me to draw/write? hehe... maybe just for fun I'll try doing a Yaoi strip. :)

Well, thanks to this virus I got I've restarted The Sims. I finally got that Kevin Costner/Robin Hood skin. I've also figured out how to make my own skins by editing the ones already in the game or the ones I've downloaded. it's nothing but a bitmap file stretched over the body mesh (the polygons that make up the Sim). Just draw on the clothes and there you have it! Maybe I'll go for a Ranma skin first (can't do heads yet, but I can at least try to draw the clothes). I could also try to do a few Evangelion skins (I've downloaded a Miaka skin from Fushigi Yuugi, but I won't use the head; it just looks wierd).

Well, I'll probably write later; I gotta restart my comp now that I've installed another application. Ciao! =)

This really stinks. I started my computer this morning, and I got a bunch of garbage instead. *sigh* I finally got this thing working, but I lost all my email and icq archives as a result. Hopefully the two people I know on ICQ (Nabs and Ukyo) are reading this and will send me their numbers. Arrrgh!

Well, I should be installing all the other stuff back into this crazy computer, including various computer games and applications. I should've gone to sleep a long time ago; I got back from work at 6:30am. Maybe I will... it'll be my day off tomorrow, so I shouldn't sweat it too much.

Okay... My first time to write to this diary in days... I'd better get used to it.. :)

*sigh* downloaded a lot of Sim skins today. One of them was "Angel" from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I tried it out; and found it didn't work. I feel like strangling the guy who made it... I've gone Sim crazy lately; now I have a Pepsi machine in my Sim's kitchen. I was thinking of putting the guinea pig in there too, but that thing bites!

damn.. I'm tired, and 10 minutes before I leave for work. I wish I had a better job.. oh, well...

owch..... this Blog thingie isn't easy to figure out.. I'll get the hang out of it tho.
